Finding Your Size

What could be worse than investing in a bike that doesn't fit you? We spend a lot of time working on how athletes and their bikes fit together. We will make sure that your bike not only fits you but that you actually achieve an optimized position on it as well. Here's what we need to get started:

1) Inseam. Stand with your back to a wall with six inches between your feet. Place a book with a 1-1/2 inch spine against the wall with the spine facing upwards to your crotch. Lift the book against your crotch with the same pressure you would have sitting on a saddle. Measure from the top of the book to the floor.

2) Torso. Measure from the top of the book (the top of your inseam) to your neck (jugular notch).

3) Overall Arm - Measure from the outer edge of your shoulder (acromion) to the outer bone in your wrist, with palm down (ulnar process)

4) Upper Arm. Measure from the outer edge of your shoulder (acromion) to your outer bone in the elbow (lateral epicondyle).

5) Lower Arm. Measure from your elbow (lateral epicondyle) to a pencil in your fist.
